Introducing Alina, the newest addition to her loving family!
Let's start by gushing over Alina's oh-so-adorable older brother. This little bundle of energy brought so much life and excitement to the session. Right from the beginning, it was clear that sitting still for photos or holding his little sister wasn't high on his agenda. But hey, that's just what two-year-olds are like, right? So, we decided to go with the flow and let his vibrant spirit shine through every frame. I captured both kids separately and worked a little Photoshop magic to seamlessly blend two photos, resulting in sibling shots that exude love, laughter, and a touch of mischief!
Now, for the family photos, we hatched a fun plan—"how high can you jump on my bed?" With Daddy's assistance, we encouraged the little guy to jump as high as he could and quickly reeled him in to capture that perfect family shot, complete with an authentic and infectious toddler smile at the heart of it all. When it comes to children, especially toddlers, you have to make it fun to capture those priceless moments. Thankfully, this family wholeheartedly embraced my wild ideas and went along with the playful chaos. And let me tell you, looking at the photos, it was absolutely worth it!
Once we wrapped up with big brother and the parents, our focus shifted entirely to celebrating Alina's delicate features. We kept things simple and timeless, allowing her natural beauty to take center stage. The result? An exquisite collection of images that beautifully preserve the purity and sweetness of Alina's first days in this world.
Now, brace yourself for a dose of nostalgia! We had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the talented Steffi Sessoms Photography, a dear friend of mine and former Vilseck resident. With Alina's dad being in the US Army stationed here in Grafenwöhr, we decided to recreate a military-themed photo that Alina's big brother had taken during his own newborn session by Steffi two years ago. And guess what? Steffi graciously gave us permission to share the original photo that inspired our fantastic military-themed sets. Talk about a blast from the past and a heartwarming connection that adds an extra layer of meaning to this newborn session!

Wilkommen Alina, das neueste Mitglied ihrer liebevollen Familie!
Zu allererst möchte ich euch von Alinas unglaublich süßen großen Bruder erzählen. Dieser kleine Kerl brachte so viel Leben und Energie in die Session, schon zu Beginn war klar, dass Stillhalten für Fotos oder das Halten seiner kleinen Schwester nicht ganz oben auf der Liste seiner Prioritäten stand. Aber hey, das ist typisch für Zweijährige, stimmts? Also beschlossen wir, einfach mitzumachen und seinen lebhaften Geist in jedem Bild strahlen zu lassen. Ich habe beide Kinder einzeln fotografiert und mit etwas Photoshop-Magie mühelos zwei Fotos kombiniert, um Geschwisterbilder voller Liebe, Lachen und einem Hauch von Verschmitztheit zu erschaffen!
Nun zu den Familienfotos: Wir hatten einen lustigen Plan – "Wie hoch kannst du auf meinem Bett springen?" Mit Papas Hilfe ermutigten wir den kleinen Mann, so hoch wie möglich zu springen, und fingen ihn im richtigen Moment ein, um das perfekte Familienfoto mit einem authentischen und ansteckenden Lächeln des Kleinkinds zu bekommen. Wenn es um Kinder geht, besonders um Kleinkinder, muss man es einfach lustig für sie machen, um diese schön lächelnden Fotos zu bekommen. Glücklicherweise hat sich diese Familie voll und ganz auf meine verrückten Ideen, und auf das spielerische Chaos eingelassen. Auf den Fotos siehst du, dass es sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt hat!
Nachdem wir mit den Bildern des großen Bruders und den Eltern fertig waren, lag der Fokus ganz auf Alina. Wir haben es schlicht und zeitlos gehalten, um ihre natürliche Schönheit in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen. Das Ergebnis? Eine atemberaubende Sammlung von Bildern, die Alinas erste Tage in dieser Welt wunderschön bewahren.
Und jetzt haltet euch fest für eine Prise Nostalgie! Wir hatten die unglaubliche Gelegenheit, mit der talentierten Steffi Sessoms Photography zusammenzuarbeiten, einer lieben Freundin von mir, die ein Studio in Vilseck hatte bevor sie nach Indiana zog. Da Alinas Vater beim US-Militär in Grafenwöhr stationiert ist, beschlossen wir, ein militärisch inspiriertes Set zu erstellen, das Alinas großer Bruder vor zwei Jahren während seiner eigenen Neugeborenensession mit Steffi auch schon aufgenommen hatte. Und wisst ihr was? Steffi hat uns großzügig erlaubt, das Originalfoto zu teilen, das unsere militärische Kulissen inspiriert hat. Da kommt Freude an vergangenen Erinnerungen auf und eine herzerwärmende Verbindung, die dieser Neugeborenensession eine zusätzliche Bedeutung verleiht!
